So right now I'm working on this cute baby afghan. It's a feather and fan pattern, and is one of my favorites. When we lived in Michigan, I would knit this in a wool/acrylic blend. Now that we live on the West Coast, I just do it in baby soft acrylic (it doesn't get that cold here)...

Kristina's Color Inspiration #5
Wow, this week's colors for Kristina's Color Inspiration #5 are so pretty (again!)...wish I could sit in that couch by the sunny window.

Here's my card, using Big Blooms.

I actually made two cards, but the first one (shown below) had too much white for the Color Inspiration. But, it is perfect for my friend's gift. I knit her up some washrags back in January,
but I couldn't get a card inspiration until now; I am so excited to finally have that done...thank you Kristina for the inspiration and challenge!!!

Hey
Of course, I needed a card to go with. I knew that I wanted to put crochet flowers on the card, but when I went to order the flowers online, they were OUT OF STOCK! So then I had to make them myself...which is a riot, because I don't know how to crochet. I found a few patterns on some other blogs that I used for this card, but none were exactly what I was looking for, so if anyone has a good pattern, please let me know!
